Project: Text Animation

Text animation for a 30 second video to visually accompany a set of lyrics or poem. Based on the song "The Waves" by Bastille, the song explores questionable decisions and bleak outcomes while also examining just how long one can distract themselves before reality starts creeping back in. The chorus is about being a passive observer doesn’t save you from having life crashing over you, so I chose to focus on water animations to translate those feelings.
